2010 Queen Jessica Spring presents the 2011 WS Finals Princess Court.
Hello! I am Crystal Pratt, a 7th grader at Tumwater Middle School. I love to sing, write and hang outside with my
friends, when my life is not taken over by horses. This is my third year in Washington State Horseman, my fifth year
participating in the Finals Show, and second year participating in Princess Court. I've been riding since 2004, and
thanks to Paulson Training for all the help and courage I've received. I have recently added a new member to my family,
Top Secret Zippo, but I call her Peyton.
Here's something we share in common; my birthday is the day after her's. What a coincidence! Peyton and I will be showing
in our greatest strengths, Showmanship, Western Equitation, and Western Pleasure. We enjoy sharing our talents and learning
from each other every day. I hope to see you around at shows, and have a great 2011.
Hi! My name is Angela Pratt. At the 2010 finals show I was crowned JR. Queen. Amigo my 6 year old paint/pinto horse that
helped me become JR. Queen is no longer with me. I miss him lots but still have my pony Taffy. Taffy loves me even more now that
she that she does not have to share me with Amigo. Taffy most of the time is loving , can be sassy when I ask her to do something
she thinks she should not have to do, and last but not least she is the mightiest pony around. I go to school Michael T. Simons
Elementary. Loving school is not hard for me! I try my best to get great grades, and still have fun with friends. I cant wait to see you at shows!
My Name is Danielle Hagerty and my horse's names are Zippo inclination (Tuxedo for short) and Cisco Coups Diablo (Cisco for short). I will be showing
Tuxedo mainly this year and he is a Quarter horse (AQHA). I just started showing Tuxedo this year and we are coming along great! He is only a four year old.
We are showing competitively in B-System and 4-H this year. The events we compete in are Showmanship, Western Equitation, and Horsemanship. I compete in
Huntseat with Cisco. I am currently a Junior at Graham Kapowsin High School. After High School I plan on going to college and becoming a physical therapist
for horses. I think the Washington State Finals Princess court is a great program because it has taught me to not only have great sportsmanship but to be a
leader in the community and skills that will better me for my future.
Hello my name is Hilary Harris and my horse in the picture is Wouldyoubesoinclined (Elwood for short).Elwood is a Quarter/Paint horse(AQHA/APHA),
Elwood and I have been a team for the last 3 years. We show in B-System shows and 4-H. The events we do are Horsemanship, Showmanship, Western Equitation,
Huntseat Equitation, Hunter under saddle, and Bareback Equitation, our favorite event is Showmanship and Bareback because they are more challenging and
Elwood likes to be all squeaky clean. I am currently a Sophomore at Eatonville High school, after High school I plan on going to WSU to become a
Veterinarian or pursue web/media career. I am running for the WS Finals Queen because it's a great program to expand your speaking skills, leadership skills,
fundraising techniques, horsemanship skills, and also sportsmanship.
Hello, my name is Nicole Manning and I am recently graduated from North Thurston High School. I have a Pinto named Elvis who is my best friend. Together, we love
to go to shows and all of the challenges and new things they bring. We competitively compete in Open Shows and the Pinto circuit. This is my third year on the WS
Finals Princess Court and it has been such a great experience. I've learned to step outside of my comfort zone and talk to new people. I have been Secretary of
the Arabian Region V Youth Board for the past three years. I was also Historian of my school's FFA Chapter and involved in WAHSET. I would like to thank all my
sponsors as well as all of those who have supported me along the way. Good luck to everyone at the show and I look forward to seeing you there!
Hi! My name is Blayne Bell and this is me and my horse, Buster Welsh (fondly known as Buster Brown or B-Brown). Buster and I have been together since August 2010
and we are already clicking well as teammates. This will be my fifth year participating in the Finals Show, my second year is Washington state horseman, and my first
year on the princess court. I wanted to participate in the princess court this year to share my love of riding with others and let them know how great the finals show is!
I enjoy showing because I'm competitive, but also because you meet people that become your lifelong friends. I've been riding horses for 6 years and I train with Becky
Paulson of Paulson Training in Olympia; she taught me everything I know about riding. Buster and I compete in showmanship, trail, english and western equitation and
pleasure, bareback, disciplined rail, hunter under saddle, and ideal pinto. We are showing mostly Pinto this year along with some open shows with the hopes of traveling
to Tulsa, Oklahoma next summer to participate at the Pinto Worlds Show. Come out and watch the Finals Show at the end of September; I guarantee you'll have fun and you
might even make a new friend or two!
